Cajun Style Rice with Philly's Premium Shrimp & Blue Crab
Ingredients:
1 Ib Jumbo Philly Wild Shrimp
1 Ib Cleaned Blue Crabs
1 1/3 Cups of Jasmine Rice
2 2/3 Cups of Low Sodium Chicken Broth
1 tsp Minced Garlic
Cajun Seasoning to taste
2 tsp Smoked Paprika
.5 Red and Green Bell Pepper, diced
1 small Sweet Onion, diced
1 Green Onion
4 tbsp Butter
Preparation:
1. Melt 2 tbs butter in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the onions, bell pepper and minced garlic until tender.
2. Stir in cajun seasoning and Rice for 2 minutes and then add your chicken broth.
3. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer (on low) and cover. Cook for 15 minutes.
4. While your Rice is cooking, prepare your shrimp and blue crabs by mixing the olive oil, cajun seasoning and smoked paprika.
5. Cook blue crabs in the oven at 400° Fahrenheit for 15 minutes or until done.
6. Blackened the shrimp on the stove or on a cast iron grill until done.
7. Stir your seafood in the cooked rice. Enjoy!
